Owners Darren and Colleen, office administrator Mel, head chef Aimee, and their team of staff, welcome all visitors and want to ensure your time at Tatum Park is memorable and fun.
Wander through Tatum Park’s expansive grounds and native bush walks, enjoy an evening campfire, hire a BBQ, swim in the outdoor pool, or challenge yourself on the 12 stage confidence course.

A rich history and an exciting future
In earlier days, Tatum Park was a training and conference centre for the New Zealand Scout movement. The buildings and amenities honour its scouting history and the plaques take you on a journey into this rich and colourful past.
Since becoming the owners of Tatum Park in 2008, Darren and Colleen have done extensive refurbishment work both on the buildings and grounds, and the future of Tatum Park is looking very exciting.

Accommodation for all budgets
Accommodation options are many and can cater for individuals through to large groups. Stay in one of the grand bedrooms in The Homestead, stay in a group in the Lodge or Bunk Houses, enjoy the privacy of a tourist flat or cabin with the field outside, park up your motorhome or caravan, or pitch a tent in the camping ground.

Choose the menu, choose the setting
Whether you want a BBQ down in Cooksey’s Circle surrounded by trees and bush, or a sumptuous buffet in the fabulously redecorated dining room and bar, head chef Aimee is able to cater for all your dining requirements. Sample menus are available and you can mix and match these as you wish. (The restaurant and bar are open by prior arrangement.)
